Meet The Mob...

The Dead Sea Mob is a creative brotherhood brought together by little more than a good strong wind and bound by a shared affinity for the dark and arcane.
6 artists, each known for charging through the undercurrents and uncharted waters of the low brow art scene, together a force to be reckoned with.

Godmachine

Godmachine was born in Cardiff, South Wales. It was a difficult birth as his parents were in London at the time. He grew up on a steady diet of nothing, 2000AD comics and Santa Cruz skateboards. His art is born of Jim Phillips, raised by Simon Bisley and adopted by his everyday influences in film, literature and music. He uses a Wacom, photoshop and coffee to achieve his incredibly detailed images.

Drew Millward

Drew has been drawing pictures in Leeds since 2004. He likes to draw the 'old fashioned' way, using pens, pencils and a love for the craft of illustration. While his subject matter varies dramatically, he hopes that his attention to detail and love of drawing is apparent throughout everything he puts his hand to.

Tom J. Newell

Over the past couple of years Tom has stacked up a decorative dirge of comic strips, gig posters and general illustrative clutter, leaving an intricate mess of hand drawn bits n' bobs scattered in his wake. He enjoys the infernal racket of Prog Rock and Golden Era Hippidy-Hop, taking inspiration from their rich visual traditions, as well as the comic book and skateboarding paraphernalia he surrounded himself with since he was old enough to know better.

Twistedloaf

Twistedloaf is a bastard illustrator known for creating beautiful filth. His style has been described as, ' what it would be like if Ronald McDonald was an artist, but was also sexually abused whilst in clown school.'  Most importantly, he is Welsh, which means he's well good... much more Welsh than Godmachine, even thought he doesn't sound it.

Dan Mumford

Dan Mumford was born and bred in the London area and never left it. He's known for blasting out a plethora of band T's, record covers and screenprints- drawing everything from the morbid and sinister to the beautiful and serene... always making sure it's got a hell of a lot of lines and ends up being just a bit of a headache to look at. His creations come by a mixture of pen, pencil, Wacom and photoshop- inspired by movies and metal.

Skinner

Skinner is a self-taught artist from Sacramento, California who has meticulously crafted a balance of extraordinary mural work, mighty powerful wall to wall installations and a prolific commercial career. Influenced by 80’s pop culture, human struggle, myths, violence, dungeons and dragons and the heavy metal gods, Skinner’s mind is one full of mayhem fueled by a calculated chaos.

Chairman Meow

Chairman Meow is a fiery, steadfast captain who comes from over the ocean, with a dense fog and predilection for all manner of debauchery in tow. The one soul brave enough to guide this Mob from one port to the next... takes no lip and runs a tidy fucking ship. To summon the mob, call upon the Captain.
